Tourism Numbers Go Through The Roof at Hamiltons Waterfalls

Last year I did a short video of the cars dealer plates at one of our waterfalls in Hamilton, it was literally a whos who of southern Ontario, and even from Quebec and New York.

Councilor Tom Jackson even came to one of my events where he witnessed a couple even talking about moving here because of our waterfalls.

Well this week I got a call from the Hamilton Conservation Authority with the gate receipts from Tews and Websters Falls.

They where up 37%

Thats incredible.

But this tells just part of the story as the unpaid and before,after hours people are not counted in this statistic.

The true number then could easily be 50% increase in visitors.

I witnessed this once at Websters while I was there, they where turning people away the lot was overfilling.

So there you go folks, it was never a question to me that the waterfall initiative would work, but there is the numbers, they dont lie.

The best though is yet to come….
